• From chair
• Reach both arms forward as if you’re going for a hug
• Cross right elbow under left
• Bring your forearms up, wrap around your wrists, and bring your palms to kiss
• Palms should be kissing, and your thumbs towards the face
• Modification- back of hand to the back of opposite hand
• Shift all of your weight into right foot
• Lift your left leg and cross it over right knee
• If you can hook your left foot behind your right calf, do so
• Find your balance in the inside of your right foot and squeezing your thighs together
• Bring knees towards left and square the hips forward
• Drop the left hip an inch or two as it will want to hike up more then the right
• If you want more, lower your ribs on top of the left thigh for crouching eagle variation
• Stay here for 5 breaths then release
